INTO THE DARKNESS - INTO THE LIGHT

HUMAN JOURNEYS THROUGH ADVERSITY, COURAGE, AND MEANING.

WHAT DOES IT TRULY MEAN TO BE COURAGEOUS?

Inspired by his own confrontation with mortality, Julian Pistone journeys across civilizations to meet the world’s bravest people and uncover the essence of courage — through their stories of war, imprisonment, life-threatening illness, and profound loss.

Shot by an award-winning crew of National Geographic Explorers and filmmakers behind projects for Netflix, MTV, BBC, VICE, and 4Real with Joaquin Phoenix and Cameron Diaz, Cor:age Series blends cinematic storytelling with real-world grit.

A global collaboration with visionaries — from Prison Fellowship International to former Google executives and peacebuilders — united to transform adversity into meaning, and fear into action.

More than a documentary, Cor:age sits at the crossroads of storytelling and social action — amplifying the silenced, restoring dignity to the forgotten, and turning courage into lasting social impact.

“Extremely engaging and real, in a way we can all reflect on our own lives.”
